Does a Divine Plan exist before our birth?

My Character

I met George any day during an international class of my religious esoteric group — the annual meeting we have in Colorado during the summer. We have people from all over America and the rest of the world, especially from Europa. That means there were many nationalities and languages spoken, but only one goal: to worship God and meet our friends in the Light.

At that time George was living in Houston, attending the Law School, and ready to start the last academic year to become a Lawyer. He had great plans to start a part-time job in a Law Office as soon as he finished School. He wanted to get experience and become a good, honest lawyer. I think he has the Law in his DNA.

George had always studied with a group of friends — 2 men and a lady who had started the same year he entered the University. They were as the “four musketeers”, as they studied together for all tests and examinations, and helped each other at any moment.

A year passed by, and I met George again in the international meeting in Colorado. He and his friends had already finished the School with very good marks, and expected to go on with the final examination to get their license. In six more months, all of them will be looking for a place in their states and cities to be settled and start working in any Law Office to get experience. Or maybe one of them could get a good position far from home.

The surprise

The next year I didn’t meet George in summer, but at Christmas, and it was when I knew what happened to him.

For everybody’s surprise in his group, after the examination to be licensed, the lady and the two gentlemen passed, but my friend didn’t. He was considered the most intelligent and the one knew all the answers.

What had it happened to him? Maybe he didn’t understand something, got mixed up, or perhaps distracted. Anyway, he stayed in Colorado in the meantime his friends relocated.

In some more months, he repeated the examination, and he failed again. He couldn’t believe it, but later tried again and failed anew. At this point, already in summer, his friends told him they were ready -as lawyers- to go to the University and help him to ask for a review of his exam. They even believed in unfair play. George had always been the best in the group, so something was really wrong.

The change

Thinking in that possibility, but at the same time exhausted, George received a call from a family friend, telling him:

— “George, please, help me. My business has grown too much and I cannot go any further without help. I need a person I can trust in, kind of right-hand man. I don’t want to look for anybody in social media or professional groups. I have decided that as we have been friends since our childhood, I want you to come and work for me. You have already finished the Law School, so . . . please help me. I offer you to be the Assistant Director and . . . so and so.”

My friend was very surprised and thought: “God, have I studied for 5 years a profession you didn’t want for me?”. “Did I do such a big mistake?”. “Or maybe YOU want a different way for me”. He meditated and reflected about this for a couple of days, and decided to take a break in the license examination, go to Seattle, stay for a time, relax his mind, and do the exam again.

So, he moved to his home city, Seattle.

I said I had seen George in Christmas; yes, I go on now, . . . coming from Seattle to spend the holidays season with us in Colorado.

After his story, we were so surprised we were posing some questions and giving our opinions to him, because it was a change nobody expected. He told us he was having real success in his friend’s company, learning a lot about how to run a business and make it thrive, plus an excellent salary. He was delighted with his job, . . . but . . . wanted to try again to get his license.

More surprises

I didn’t go to Colorado for some years, because I moved to Europe due to family circumstances, but we emailed each other every now and then to get updates about our lives and our mutual friends’ ones.

In one email he told me he was thinking to have the damn examination again, and once he had the license, to rent a one-room office to take the experience as a lawyer, helping low-income people some evenings and weekends as he didn’t need any money. Surely, I wish him LUCK.

Guess what ! George passed the exam with an A !!! We could say PERFECT.

One day I came back to the USA, and met my friend and my kindred souls again in Colorado during the international meeting of our religious group. George’s happiness was beyond words, as he explained to us the wonderful job he was doing in his Law Office (only part-time), how much he had learned, and the reason God maneuvered to put him in the right place for him and for others.

Life is perfect.

George added that he also had good-income people as clients who paid for his services, and for this, he could perfectly support his Office without investing his own money. He was grateful to God for everything he had accomplished.

We all learned what the Masters say: “God knows better than you what you need for your own development and evolution. Flow with LIFE. Always listen to your heart where the TRUTH lies”.

George’s story is not different from mine or any other person who accepts God and our Guides are always looking after us. Once this is clear, our lives change completely, because when something is hard to manage, we remain calm and ask God what we have to learn . . . and then we wait. Instead, other persons get frightened and desperate, thinking about “bad luck”, “life is against me”, “why am I in this situation? It is not right”, “life is not fair”, etc, etc..

The important situation is to listen to our hearts.

Life is perfect. Always.
