Hi, Carol !!

I have been living in Europe for 30 years, and today, when I read your story I was really surprised and shocked. I think I told you something about the European "Prison System" probably a year ago or so. Anyway.

I recommend you to watch a British-French film whose name is "I Have Love You So Long" , starring Kristin Scott Thomas. I borrowed it from the Chicago Library. You can take it from your local Library as well. (I hope). It will show you how they (The Prison System) works to re-insert people after they have been in jail. They are not to act in an unforgiven attitude, but to help them to come back to a normal life. Watch it ! It will open your mind to understand that the System here fails to do the right thing. Maybe this is not going to solve your daughter's problem here, but at least you will know THERE IS ANOTHER WAY --MUCH BETTER WAY-- OF MANAGING THE PRISON SYSTEM.
